Construction of Taroko Shopping Center began in June

Taroko said that in the future, “Taroko Caoya Road” will target young families in southern Taiwan who pay attention to life and leisure, combining shopping, leisure, catering, sports, go-kart, amusement parks, and calling “the most fun shopping mall in Asia”.

The main stores of “Taroko Caoya Road”, such as Taroko battling cage, Suzuka Circuit Park, Fitness Factory, and Ambassador Cinemas, will provide diversified leisure and entertainment options. A number of well-known catering and apparel players have actively expressed their willingness to set up, including representative and popular stores in Kaohsiung, as well as international brands that regard Caoya Road as their exclusive base in southern Taiwan.

Cai Mingzhang, chairman of Taroko Development, said that after the case passes the review, it is expected to obtain the approval letter of the ring difference at the end of March, obtain the construction license in early May, and start construction in early June. The whole project is a low-density development, which requires a construction period of about 18 months, and the development schedule is faster than that of ordinary high-density development, and it is expected to open by the end of 2015; The second phase of the development plan will build an urban leisure hotel.
