“In order to Chinese mainland the layout of the market, we have been actively looking for strategic partners in Asia that can provide new shopping mall operation solutions, and after inspecting the Taimao Shopping Center in Taiwan and the Taroko sports and leisure service model introduced by Big City, we confirmed that this is what Aeon Mainland needs the most, and immediately negotiated with Taroko, and I am very happy that Taroko chose AEON Mall as the first partner to enter the Chinese market.”
In the future, Sunrise pointed out that in addition to entering AEON China’s shopping malls in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Daluka will also cooperate with the shopping malls developed by AEON in central, eastern and southern China. It is understood that China Aeon plans to open 70 large shopping malls in China from 2014 to 2020.
In order to transform commercial real estate development, Taroko established the 100% shareholding “Taroko Development”, and appointed Cai Mingzhang, former deputy general manager of AIG real estate investment department of American company and director of development department of British business TESCO (Tesco), as the chairman of the board; and Guo Darui, who worked in Taimao Shopping Center for 16 years, as managing director.

Hsu Yung-Chang said that Taroko established commercial real estate development, Kaohsiung Caoya Road is the first shopping mall, and will be opened on a trial basis in the fourth quarter of 2015; In addition, there are several development projects in Tainan, Taichung, Hsinchu, Taoyuan, New Taipei City and Taipei City, and we are actively planning future cooperation opportunities with life insurance companies and builders on the island, and I believe that there will be good news next year.
